Project Overview
This heavy-duty shredding line is engineered for the high-volume size reduction of a wide range of rigid plastic waste, specifically targeting ABS, PS, and PP materials sourced from end-of-life household appliances, automotive parts, plastic toys, and large machine housings. Designed with versatility and robustness in mind, it efficiently processes bulky, irregularly shaped items that cannot be handled by standard crushers. The system ensures a continuous workflow with outputs ranging from 500 to 5000 kg/h, transforming challenging waste streams into uniform, clean-sized flakes ready for subsequent washing, separation stages in the recycling process.

Process Introduction
The process begins with a Chain Plate Conveyor that steadily feeds bulky whole items into the system. The material first enters a Dual-Shaft Shredder, where powerful, interlocking blades tear and shear the large plastic parts into smaller, manageable strips or chunks. An Over-Belt Magnetic Separator is then strategically positioned to automatically remove ferrous metalsfrom the material stream. The pre-shredded plastic proceeds into a Closed-Cell Crusher , where it is pulverized into the final, consistent flake size required for recycling. Finally, a Screw Conveyor transports the cleaned and sized plastic flakes efficiently to the next stage, such as a storage silo or a washing line, ensuring a fully automated and enclosed transfer to minimize dust and manual handling.
